Cloud-Enabled Government Conference & Expo

Digital Government Institute's 2010 Cloud Computing Conference delivered 22% more government attendees than the prior year.  "Excellent presenters -- very informative. I enjoy attending these events because they provide a wealth of information. My organization is considering a cloud solution and I learned a few things we have not considered", commented an IT Specialist from the Department of the Treasury/FMS.

Darrell West, Vice President and Director, Governance Studies, The Brookings Institution (right) presented the opening keynote discussing how to save money through cloud computing.  " Great overview. Mark Medovich, Director of Business Development, Next Generation Infrastructure, Juniper Networks (left) discussed "Leveraging Cloud Computing to Meet the Demands of a Transforming IT Landscape". " Great food for thought," commented a Software Engineer from a government agency.

Tom Soderstrom, IT Chief Technology Officer, NASA  Jet Propulsion Laboratory (right) presented "The Pervasive Cloud: What's Now and What's Next". " Gave some great learned information that can be leveraged," commented a government Project Manager. " Learned some innovative technologies that could be of help to my agency," commented another attendee.

Dale Wickizer, CTO, US Public Sector, NetApp (left) discussed" Improving Security in the Cloud by Using Virtual Silos".  " Great topic as this is the most important concern of most participants," said an attendee.

The Networking Expo
