Enterprise Architecture Conference & Expo

DGI’s 10th annual Enterprise Architecture Conference, again in partnership with the FEAC Institute, saw a 32% increase in government attendees over the prior year, making it one of the largest government-focused EA events.  The FEAC Institute's Mike Tiemann (left) was the event's emcee.

Armando Ortiz, Former Chief Architect with CIT Group, AMOCO (left) gave "A View of FEA From the Outside Looking In" during his keynote session.  "Good insight into the commercial world," said an attendee.  "Nice connection between EA and budget," commented another.

David Lyle, VP Product Strategy, CTO Office with Informatica, and co-author of “Lean Integration: An Integration Factory Approach to Business Agility” (right) discussed Data Challenges in the FEA.  "Informative in illustrating how EA practice is applied to the “lean” quantity assurance concept," said one attendee.  And another "Excellent briefer. Optimization through pattern matching reminds me of data compression. Very thought provoking! Lots of useful info in the presentation."

Raghav Vajjhala, Chief Enterprise Architect with the Department of the Treasury (left) discussed "Migration to the Cloud and Data Center Consolidation: an EA Perspective".  “I would love to see more architects get involved in data center consolidation activity at their prospective agencies,” he said, as reported by GCN.  Read the entire GCN article online here.
