EA Conference Draws Large Crowd of Government EAs, including Certified Enterprise Architects

EA AudienceDGI's Enterprise Architecture Conference Speakers presented to a packed-house, where more than 300 government and industry EA practitioners, including FEAC Institute Certified Enterprise Architects, gathered to discuss trends, real-world examples, and how to bring EA into a strategy planning process.

 

 

 

 


All attendees convened in one session room which helped facilitate EA Networkingnetworking opportunities. And networking is what it was all about, according to feedback. When asked what attendees enjoyed most about the conference, "Networking with peers, exchange of experience" was a popular response (in addition to "hearing from top IT architects and their current programs and objectives.")

 

 

 

 

 

CogginsColleen Coggins, with the Department of the Interior, in the opening Keynote Address presented some thought-provoking remarks on the Architect's role on creating a more open and participatory government.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PaulKshemendra Paul, Chief Architect, Office of E-Government and Information Technology, OMB presented the Afternoon Keynote on Using Architecture to Improve Accountability and Transparency.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cloud PanelIn the session titled "Cloud Computing: Driving Real Innovation and Value Within the EA Roadmap", panelists answered a question from the audience about this emerging shared computing strategy.
